Jeanne Bloor Adams, 86, of Falmouth and Ocean Point, passed away at her home on May 25, following a long illness.
She was born in Trenton, N.J. on Sept. 29, 1920, daughter of W. Harry Bloor and Evva Averre Bloor. She graduated from Trenton High School and attended Rider College.
Jeanne married Charles F. Adams, Jr. on Jan. 31, 1942 in Trenton. In 1949, Jeanne and her family moved to South Jefferson and later to Damariscotta. She was a longtime summer resident of Ocean Point.
She was predeceased by her brother, W. Spencer Bloor; and sister, Christina H. Bloor.
Jeanne is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles F. Adams, Jr. of Falmouth and Ocean Point; children, Barbara Adams Fowler of South Portland, Charles F. Adams, III of Cumberland Foreside, Phoebe Adams McKay of Buffalo, N.Y., and Holly Adams Jose of Boothbay; 11 grandchildren; brother, Harry A Bloor of Princeton, N.J.; and sister, Betty B. Snook of Wilmington, N.C.
Memorial service will be held later this summer at Ocean Point.
