Jessica Marie Nichols, 22, of Waldoboro, died July 2 in Hope. She was born Jan. 26, 1986 in Rockport, a daughter of Terrence and Carla Moore Nichols. She grew up in Waldoboro and attended local schools. She received her diploma from Rockland High School as a Christmas gift to her mother in 2006.
She worked as a waitress in Portland. She loved to travel, music and especially spending time with her friends. Her friends were the most important thing in her life.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Willis Nichols and by her maternal grandfather, Carl R. Moore.
She is survived by her parents, Terrence and Carla Nichols of Waldoboro; brother, Brandon Nichols of Waldoboro; paternal grandmother, Sally Nichols of Wiscasset; maternal grandmother, Gail Moore of Round Pond; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.
Memorial service 1 p.m., Fri., July 11 at the Broad Bay Congregational United Church of Christ in Waldoboro.
