Jessie A. Hayden, 30, of Waldoboro, died unexpectedly Nov. 22 as the result of an automobile accident. He was born Dec. 7, 1983 in Waterville to Millard and Donna Landry Hayden. He attended local schools. He worked alongside his father at the mill in Solon.
Jessie has lived in Waldoboro since 2002. He worked at Friendship Trap Company. He recently worked for Bowden’s Egg Farm, picking eggs, cutting wood and doing what needed to be done around the farm.
He was a true woodsman. He loved working and playing in the outdoors. He found “fun” in everything he did. He was a good spirit and had a contagious laugh. Jessie was always available to do the “dirty work” whenever the situation presented itself. He lived life to its fullest, like every day was his last.
He loved to hunt and fish, especially going ice fishing. He also loved guns. His rough exterior never exceeded his kind, warm-hearted self. Jessie was fearless, even when it came to showing his emotions. He was in touch with his inner spirit. He was family-focused, and he touched so many peoples’ lives in a positive way. His dad was his best friend.
He loved animals, especially cats and dogs. He was obsessed over cats.
A private gathering of friends and family will be held. Jessie will be buried in Norridgewock.
