oanne “Babb” Finley, of Windsor, was called home surrounded by her loving family on March 6. She was born on Nov. 9, 1938 in Augusta, the daughter of the late Jenny and Lawrence Babb.
Joanne and husband Frank raised their family in Windsor. Together they operated a successful poultry business and farm for many years. Joanne enjoyed her winters in Florida with her husband and Rosie. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved her family with all of her heart.
Joanne was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Frank K. Finley; brother, Robert Babb; grandchild, Travis Finley, and great-grandchild, Liam Finley.
She is survived by her children, Dan Finley and wife Karen of Windsor, Sally Gower and husband Buddy of Albion, Lawrence Finley and friend Holly Laselle of Windsor, and John Finley and wife Julie of China; brother, Russell Babb and wife Annie of China; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and most faithful friend, Rosie.
Visiting hours will be held from 7-8:30 p.m., Tues., March 8 at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wed., March 9.
