John “Hank” Parsons, 53, of Jefferson, passed away suddenly on May 14 at his home with his wife and daughter by his side.
Born on July 10, 1964 in Rome, N.Y., John was a loved husband, father, son, brother and uncle.
He loved his animals, Gung-Fu, computers, and his home. John also loved his “boiled peanuts,” pickles, and V8. He was famous for playing pranks, and always got a kick out of pulling one over on the family.
John never grew tired of his music and loved hard rock. He was his wife Chris’ rock star.
John had so many hidden talents, but never hid how much he loved his daughter “Britter” and how proud she made him. He always loved telling stories of Cassie Parsons, and loved his two daughters very much.
John never wavered in showing his love for his wife, and forever soulmate, Chris. She will miss her special “Mr. Blue Eyes.” He also loved Ana and Chantal, his step-children, very much.
John was predeceased by sister, Linda Parsons, whom he lost in a tragic accident at 12 years old.
He is survived by mother, Judith K. Parsons; sister, Sarah Parsons; wife, Christina Parsons; daughters, Britany Chaney and Cassie Parsons; step-children, Adriana Worthing and Chantal Worthing; and large extended family that he loved, and who loved him dearly.
A private gathering will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter, PO Box 7, Edgecomb, ME 04556.
