John S. Peters, 90, of Edgecomb, passed away at his home on the evening of Nov. 6. Born on Oct. 2, 1928, he was the husband of the late Mary (Hayes) Peters.
A time of visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m., Mon., Nov. 12 at the Strong-Hancock Funeral Home, 612 Main St., Damariscotta. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Tues., Nov. 13 at St. Patrick’s Church in Newcastle. He will be laid to rest immediately following the service.
