Joseph “Mick” Michael Cappelletti Jr., 62, of Damariscotta, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 15 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta. Born in Washington, D.C. on Aug. 18, 1950, he was the son of Joseph Sr. and Rosemary (Miller) Cappelletti.
With a father in the Armed Forces, Mick was born in Washington, D.C. but moved throughout the country while growing up. He eventually became a long-time contractor in the Damariscotta area.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Cappelletti of Damariscotta; son, Zach Cappelletti of Lewiston; daughter, Corinne Cappelletti of New York; stepchildren, Luke Davidson of Freeport, and Emily Davidson of North Yarmouth; and sisters, Regina Cappelletti of Michigan, and Christina Cappelletti of Illinois.
