Joseph V. Kelly, Jr., 91, of Westborough, Mass., formerly of Sudbury, Mass. and Bremen, passed away peacefully on April 12 at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. He was the husband of Eleanor (Mann) Kelly.
Born in Dorchester, Mass., he was the son of the late Joseph and Olive (Little) Kelly. He was educated in Braintree schools and was a graduate of M.I.T., which he attended on full scholarship.
During WW II he served with the U.S. Army Air Force, attaining the rank of Sergeant.
Mr. Kelly was employed as a systems analyst at Wyman-Gordon for many years, retiring in 1986.
Joseph was a member of the American Chemical Society and enjoyed reading. He also loved walking with his dog Ben and taking care of his house in Maine.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters, Ellen K. Linn of Worcester, Mass., Elizabeth K. Starr of Wiscasset, and Catherine K. Britt of Newport, N.H.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services and interment will be held at a later date.
