Juliette Mary Bridges Hall, 81, of Union, formerly of Somerville, died at her home on July 23.
She was born May 27, 1931 on Swans Island, a daughter of the late Freeman and Florence (Stockbridge) Bridges.
Mrs. Hall was a graduate of Rockland High School and the Gorham State Teachers College. She was married on July 25, 1954 to Kenneth Hall in Rockport. Over the years she was a member of the Orff’s Corner Community Club and she enjoyed reading, crosswords, cooking and entertaining. Mrs. Hall will be remembered for her kind and caring spirit and her wonderful sense of humor. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were especially important to her and she spent much time taking them on trips and enjoying their company.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of more than 57 years who died Sept. 3, 2010; and sons, John Hall and Bruce Hall.
Mrs. Hall is survived by daughter, Deborah Kennedy and husband Dana of Union; sons, Gregory Hall of Union and Kendall Hall and wife Mona of Nobleboro; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of her family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Smeltzer Family Cremation and Funeral Service, Waldoboro.
