Kenneth H. Willey, 66, of Newell S.D., formerly of Waldoboro, passed away Feb. 25 from a long battle of respiratory complications.

Finally settling in Waldoboro he raised a family and worked for Genthner’s oil for many years before moving to Florida to work in the security business. He loved gardening, motorcycles, flea markets, helping others, spending time with family and being with his one true love, his wife.
He was predeceased by his beloved grandparents, Alphonso and Catherine Willey; father, Clarence Light; sister, Sue Ramsey; and brother, Stuart Benner.
He is survived by his wife, Sheryl Willey of South Dakota; mother, Ella Benner of Waldoboro; sons, Adam Willey of England and Ken Willey of Thomaston; daughters, Teresa (Willey) Pelotte of Waterville and Taylor Willey of Sarasota, Fla.; five grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters, Kathryn and Aryan Fogg; seven brothers and sisters; four stepchildren, 13 step grandchildren in South Dakota and Wyoming; and numerous other relatives throughout the Waldoboro area.
