Kevin Lynwood Colpitt, 56, of Gardiner, formerly of Alna and Edgecomb, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 27.
Kevin was born on March 11, 1954 in Damariscotta, the son of Thomas Colpitt Sr. and Marjorie Bailey. He attended Wiscasset schools and graduated in 1972. Kevin was an avid outdoorsman, having spent his life as a worm harvester and woodworker.
He was predeceased by both of his parents, and sister, Linda Vandelac of Washington.
Survivors include children, Crystal Plummer and husband Mark of Newcastle and Isreal Colpitt of Readfield; grandson, Hunter Gavin Colpitt; brother, Thomas Colpitt Jr. and wife Kris of N. Whitefield; sisters, Alison Fay of Florida, Penny Fredette of Windsor, and Marjorie Dore and husband Jim of New Hampshire; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and his loving partner in life, Susie Walsh of Gardiner.
Per Kevin’s wishes, services will be private.
