Kevin Patrick Murray, 35, died Sept. 15 at his home in Nobleboro.
He was born Dec. 24, 1970 in Camden, N.J., a son of John E. Murray III and Diane S. Murray. Kevin graduated from Medomak Valley High School in the class of 1989. He was a veteran of the Persian Gulf War, serving in the Navy.
He was a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the “Hi-Tech Rednecks” softball team in the Waldoboro Recreation Softball League. Every child he ever met will never forget his wonderful smile and how much he loved them.
He is survived by his father, John E. Murray III of Nobleboro; mother, Diane S. Murray of Waldoboro; brothers, John E. Murray IV and wife Debbie of Waldoboro, Scott William Murray and wife Vicki of Waldoboro, and Brian Christopher Murray and fiancée Wendy Allen of Wiscasset; sisters, Colleen Susan Murray and fiancé Jeremy Reynolds of Waldoboro, and Alicia Marie Murray of Waldoboro; nephews, Zachary Durkee of Waldoboro, John John Murray of Waldoboro, Jacob Murray of Waldoboro, and Jacob Allen of Wiscasset; nieces, Shauna Murray of Waldoboro, and Courtney Allen of Wiscasset; and so many aunts, uncles, godchildren, cousins and friends.
Visiting hours 6-8 p.m., Thurs., Sept. 21 at Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St., Waldoboro.
Funeral 11 a.m., Fri., Sept. 22 at Broad Bay Congregational Church next to the funeral home, with Dana Dow officiating.
Burial will be in the German Protestant Cemetery in Waldoboro.
