Laura Kathryn Foley, 21, of Jefferson, formerly of Salem, N.H., died tragically at the scene of an automobile accident on Sunday, June 23.
Laura grew up and was educated in Salem, N.H. She graduated from Salem High School, Class of 2016. Following high school, Laura attended the University of Maine, Orono, in the Performing Arts department. Recently, she enjoyed working at a local general store.
Laura was a uniquely talented artist in a variety of expressions. Music and song were her earliest loves, and fulfilled her throughout her life. She soon added painting, photography, cooking, baking, creating artisan gifts and remembrances, spiritual philosophy, social inspiration and so much more. Those who knew her and loved her deeply will continue to feel her vision and special gifts.
Laura is survived by her parents, Susan (Elliott) Fenderson and Blane Fenderson of Jefferson; adoring sisters, Meaghan Foley of Manchester, N.H., and Macy Fenderson of Skowhegan; devoted brothers, Ryan Foley and wife Ariana of Garland, Texas, and Neal Foley of Woburn, Mass.; grandparents, Robert and Yvette Elliott of Salem, N.H., Pauline Foley of Barefoot Bay, Fla., and Ruth Fenderson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who have always been a great source of love and support to Laura. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Frank Foley. Laura also leaves Paul Hardman of the Isle of Man.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, June 28 from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, N.H. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
Loved ones and guests may wear their favorite flannel or plaid to honor our little Lumberjack, aka La, Bud, Li’l Miss, ToraLoraLaura.
