Lauren Lee Doucette, 31, of Jefferson, passed away unexpectedly on March 21 in Burlington, Mass. Born in Winchester, Mass. on Jan. 18, 1980, she was the daughter of Gary Doucette and the late Alma Doucette.
Lauren grew up in Woburn, Mass. and graduated from Woburn High School in 1998. She went on to graduate from the University of New Hampshire as part of the class of 2002. She was an inspirational writer and creative thinker.
Lauren’s laughter and spirit will live on in all the people she touched during her life.
Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Norman Doucette; maternal grandmother, Claire Albertelli; as well as an uncle, James Doucette.
She is survived by her loving father, Gary Doucette and stepmother, Linda of Jefferson; sisters, Jill and Celine Doucette; grandmother, Mary J. Doucette; aunts and uncles, Diane Doucette, Norman Doucette and wife Linda, Dale Larson and Todd Albertelli; sisters, Jennifer Pacitti and Jessica Broderick; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Hour of visitation March 26 at the Strong-Hancock Funeral Home, 612 Main St., Damariscotta. Funeral mass followed at St. Patrick’s Church, 380 Academy Hill Rd., Newcastle.
