Leona Betty Lou Rice, 68, of Nobleboro, passed away at Midcoast Hospital, Brunswick, on the afternoon of June 21.
The daughter of Leona Griffin, she was born Dec. 28, 1939, in Wilmington, Del.
She graduated from high school in Oakhurst, N.J. and had resided in several areas of the country before coming to Nobleboro with her husband 16 years ago.
She leaves her husband, Ronald K. Rice of Nobleboro.
She will be laid to rest, privately, at the Dunbar Cemetery, Nobleboro.
Strong Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 612 Main St., Damariscotta, is entrusted with arrangements.
