Leslie E. Larrabee, 58, of Whitefield, died unexpectedly.
Leslie was born to Edward and Marguerite (Russell) Larrabee on July 26, 1952, the fifth of six children.
Leslie grew up in Alna and attended school in Wiscasset. During his lifetime, he worked in the construction, house painting and lawn care fields.
Leslie liked to tinker on small engines and had a special knack for repairing lawn mowers. Les was a “down to earth” person who enjoyed the simple things in life and spending time with family and friends.
Leslie was predeceased by his father, Edward in May 1967, and by his mother, Marguerite in December of 1996.
Les is survived by his daughters, Bethany Tucker, Hannah Hilton and Heather Truman; brothers, Clarence and wife Betty of Chelsea, Russell of Randolph and Edward; sisters, Lillian Cunningham and husband Paul of Whitefield and Betty Jane McDonald and husband Timothy of Pittston; granddaughter, Trinity Cameron; grandson, Hayden Lee; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be no public visiting hours but Leslie will be laid to rest with his mother in the family plot 2 p.m., Sun., Oct. 3 at Whitefield Plains Cemetery, Rt. 218, Whitefield.
