Lynne Marie Giles, 53, of Somerville, died Sept. 16 at an Augusta hospital following a brief illness.
Lynne was born April 20, 1953 in Schenectady, N.Y., the daughter of Thomas and Joyce Jacobs Andrews.
She graduated from Dixfield High School with the class of 1971 and was employed as a certified nurse’s assistant for many years. She enjoyed helping others in many different ways, and had a great love for animals.
Lynne is survived by her loving husband, Arthur Giles; her parents; a special maternal grandfather, Harry Francis; and two stepbrothers, Michael and Peter Andrews.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Ruth Francis; and paternal grandparents, Arthur and Margaret Andrews.
Graveside service 1 p.m., Wed., Sept. 20 at Crocker Cemetery, Dexter Rd., St. Albans.
