Madeline Frances Wyllie, 90, of Owls Head, wife of the late Arthur S. Wyllie, died May 18 at the Homestead in Owls Head. Madeline was born on Sept. 25, 1918 in Friendship, the daughter of the late Frankie and Leora (Cook) Miller.
She was a graduate of Thomaston High School. She was a member of the Second Congregational Church of Warren, the Ladies Circle and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, quilting and listening to Gospel music.
She is survived by a son, Duane Wyllie of Cape Coral, Fla.; daughter, Barbara Wyllie, of Waldoboro; daughter-in-law, Jane Wyllie of Cape Coral, Fla.; grandsons, Chad Wyllie and wife Erin of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and Scott Wyllie and wife Susan of Cincinnati, Ohio; great-granddaughter, Taylor Wyllie of Ewa Beach, Hawaii; sister, Carleen Philbrook of Camden; and eight nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Madeline’s life 10 a.m., Sat., June 13 at the Counce Cemetery, Peterboro Rd., Warren with Rev. Robin Honaker officiating.
