Margery (Midge) Rogers Safford died of natural causes on Feb. 22 in Kent, Ohio. Midge was born in Denver, Ohio and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon retirement in 1979, Midge moved to Williamstown, Ohio with her husband Lou Safford. Midge came to Christmas Cove for over 40 consecutive summers, where she enjoyed tennis, swimming, and the company of her friends.
She is survived by her children, Platt, Esther, and Tommy; eight grandchildren; and sister, Judith R. Collens.
Memorial service 1 p.m., Sat., March 21 at St. Christopher’s By The River, Gates Mills, Ohio with the Rev. Conrad Selnick presiding.
