Marguerite Watson Bigelow, 87, of Boothbay Harbor, died May 2 at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor of liver cancer. She was born in Littleton, Aug. 6, 1922, the oldest daughter of James Earl Watson and Mattie Crouse Watson.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Belgrade, the grange and Order of the Eastern Stars.
Marguerite was predeceased by her husband, Laurence M. Bigelow in 1985.
She is survived by a son, James L. Bigelow and wife Linda of Salisbury, Mass. and Stratton; daughter, Judy A. Bruening and husband Carl of Boothbay Harbor; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Marjorie Watson and husband Paul of Atlantic, Ia.
At her request, there will be no funeral service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
