Mrs. Marie (Bonner) Weeks, 89, of Peabody, Mass., formerly of Danvers, Mass., beloved wife of the late Adolph A. Weeks Jr., died Oct. 28 following a brief illness at her home at Brooksby Village.
Born in Warren, Penn., Marie was the daughter of the late Dr. Clarence and Blanche (Bostwick) Bonner and sister of the late Kathleen Busineau and George Bonner. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Holten High School.
Marie was a loving wife and mother. She loved golf and was an avid bridge player. Marie and Jun enjoyed wintering on Ft. Myers Beach, Fla. She had resided in Waldoboro, Wheeling, W. Va. and Portsmouth, R.I. and had been a resident of Danvers for the past 30 years until recently moving to Brooksby Village.
Marie is survived by two daughters, Wanda Thibeault and husband Raymond of Brentwood, N.H., and Martha Brasovan and the late Louis of Miami, Fla.; four grandchildren, Karen Sparks and husband Ronald of Wenham, Mass., Richard Day and wife Karen of Newmarket, N.H., Jane Day Britton of Seabrook, N.H., and Gail Day of Newmarket, N.H.; seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held Nov. 1 at Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, Danvers, Mass., with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. There were no visiting hours.
