Marijean “Polly” Luger, 87, of Damariscotta and Edgecomb, passed away on the morning of Feb. 2 at Cove’s Edge Nursing Facility in Damariscotta. The wife of Pastor William Luger, she was born on July 27, 1927 in New Haven, Conn., to Lloyd and Beulah (Hampton) Worley.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sat., March 21 at the Water of Life Lutheran Church in Newcastle. She will be laid to rest in the German Protestant Cemetery in Waldoboro in the spring.
