Marilyn J. Woodman, 84, of
Following her public education, Marilyn studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and
Marilyn continued with her art work, basket weaving; enjoyed playing cards, going out to lunch, traveling, learning and animals, especially cats.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leroy Woodman.
Marilyn leaves her daughters, Meredith Fossett and husband James of Pemaquid, Lori Thayer of Northampton, Mass., and Cheryl Manning of Thomaston; granddaughter, Brandi Vassiliou and husband Mike; grandson, Michael Fossett; great-grandson, Thelonius James Vassiliou; step-daughter, Jane Woodman, companion Blane and her son Michael of Oakland; and step-son, John Woodman and wife Terry of Dover, N.H.
Service to commemorate her life 11 a.m., Oct. 11, at the All Soul’s Universalist Church, 41 Church St., Oakland, with a celebration to follow in the Church Meeting Room.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the animal shelter of one’s choice (the Farmington Animal Shelter is where Marilyn got her cat Pumpkin) or All Soul’s Church,
