Marilyn P. Benner, 80, of Dresden Mills, passed away Aug. 7 at the MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. She was born in Dresden on May 14, 1929, a daughter of Edward and Lida Nash Goud.
Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, George, who was a retired service veteran and her brother, Calvin Goud.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services 11 a.m., Tues., Aug. 11 at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner. Burial will follow in the family lot beside her husband in Pine Grove Cemetery Dresden.
Arrangements are entrusted to Staples Funeral Home, Gardiner.
