Marion Louise Rancourt Ripley, of Jefferson, died May 23. She was born Jan. 11, 1920, the daughter of Alfred and Iva Rancourt.
Marion was very active in the Kings Mills Lady’s Auxiliary, 4th of July activities and fireman suppers. In January of this year she received a certificate for having achieved 1000 hours of exercise at Curves in Gardiner. She enjoyed playing bingo, yard sales, and reading about which she said she couldn’t afford to travel so she traveled with books.
Marion was predeceased by her parents; brother, George Alfred Rancourt; sisters, Rebecca Brann and Bernice Douglas; and sons, James Ripley and Kenneth Earl Ripley and daughter Janet (Audrey) Ripley.
Survivors include her sons, Alfred Roy Ripley of Oakland and Charles Edward Ripley of Jefferson; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
At her request there will be no services.
