Marjorie C. Brown, 92, of Damariscotta, died Feb. 14 in Portland. She was born in Marblehead, Mass., daughter of Ernest and Haddie (Caswell) Cronk. She was raised and attended schools in Marblehead, Mass. and lived for many years in Central New Hampshire where she worked at the Laconia Hospital. Marjorie moved to New Harbor in 1965 and was a homemaker in her later years. She was active in the Willing Workers in New Harbor.
She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, William Brown.
Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey Brown and wife Carol of Waldoboro, and Lawrence Brown of New Harbor; niece, Meridith Graf of Peabody, Mass.; granddaughters, Tiffany Lawrence and husband Chris of Waldoboro, and Erin Novak and companion Max Mitchell also of Waldoboro; and four great-grandchildren, Jacob and Noah Lawrence, Kaleb Novak, all of Waldoboro, and Alyssa Coutts of Orlando, Fla.
Memorial service celebrating her life 11 a.m., Sat., Feb. 21, at Hodgdon Green, 6 Hodgdon St., Damariscotta.
