Mark Allen Waltz, 42, passed away on Aug. 24 in Waldoboro.
The son of Henry and Naida (Hodgkins) Waltz, Sr., he was born in Damariscotta on Sept. 1, 1964. He attended Damariscotta schools, graduating from Lincoln Academy in Newcastle.
A hard worker, Mark worked for many years in sales and later at Shop n’ Save in Damariscotta, where he was known for his smile and good-natured personality.
He was a lifelong lover and collector of music of all genres.
Mark was predeceased by his mother, Naida and brother, Henry.
He leaves his father, Henry Sr. of Damariscotta; sister, Brenda Prior of Bremen; brothers, Vance Bailey and Gary Waltz, both of Whitefield; best friend, John Chapman of Damariscotta; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
All services will be private.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Strong Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 612 Main St., Damariscotta.
