Mary A. Poland, 83, of Damariscotta, passed away at Cove’s Edge Nursing Facility in Damariscotta on the morning of Jan. 29. Born on Nov. 15, 1928 in Bristol, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Lillian (Sykes) Poland.

Mary is survived by her sister, Ruth Poland of Waldoboro; as well as many cousins.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Bristol Mills Cemetery in Bristol, where she will be laid to rest with her parents.
