Mary E. Dufour Baker, 72, passed away unexpectedly at her home on June 4.
She was born Sept. 22, 1934 in Windsor, the daughter of Wilfred and Annie Hopkins Dufour, Sr.
Mary was a graduate of Erskine Academy. She loved baseball, reading and crocheting.
She worked for Central Maine Power for several years and then as a nurse’s aide until she retired in the early 1990’s.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Annie and Wilfred Dufour; daughter, Eastman; and sister, Marion Genthner.
Survivors include her son, Raymond Eastman and fiancée Amy Mahar of Bristol; daughters, Terry Eastman and Cheryl Baker of Waldoboro; brothers, Wilfred Dufour of Windsor, and Robert Dufour and wife Sandra of Bristol; grandchildren, Michael and Jennifer Eastman of Rockland, Emily Eastman of Friendship, Taylor Baker of Waldoboro, and Marguerite Eastman of Newcastle; nieces, Lisa Gunn and husband Dave of Friendship, Delora White and husband Kevin of Waldoboro, and April Fiore and husband Chris of Detroit; nephew, Kevin Dufour of Bristol; great-nieces, Bridget Teele and husband Shawn of Damariscotta, and Kelsey Gunn of Friendship; and great-nephews, Devlin Teel of Damariscotta, and Christopher Fiore of Detroit.
Memorial service 2 p.m., Fri., June 8 at Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St., Waldoboro.
