Mary J. Hourihan, 92, passed away on the morning of Nov. 30 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.
She was born Nov. 9, 1914, in Boston, Mass., the daughter of James and Mary (Rahill) Kilroy.
Her life was her family and her extended family, and she made friends wherever she went. She will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by her beloved husband, James F. Hourihan of Wiscasset; children, John Hourihan of Hopkinton, Mass., Thomas Hourihan of Damariscotta, and Mary Fish of Bremen; grandchildren, Richard Hourihan, Jimmy Cardwell, Buddy Cardwell, James Hourihan, Thomas Hourihan, John Hourihan, Katie Hourihan, Jim Hourihan, Erin Doherty Keeton and Maura Doherty; and great-grandchildren, Colleen Nodal and Aiden Keeton.
She was predeceased by her parents, four brothers, and son Jimmy.
Visiting hours 2-4 p.m., Mon., Dec. 4 with a service to follow at 4 p.m. at Strong Funeral Home, 612 Main St., Damariscotta.
She will be laid to rest 1 p.m., Tues., Dec. 5 at St. Josephs Cemetery in West Roxbury, Mass.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Strong Funeral Home, Damariscotta.
