Michael Eric Main, 54, of Boothbay Harbor, passed away Oct. 3 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland.
Michael was born May 28, 1957 in Boothbay Harbor, the son of Frank B. and Jeanette Louise Benner Main, and attended local schools.
In the late 1990’s, he resided in Florida, working as a painter and landscaper. Primarily, he lived in the Boothbay region, most recently working as a sternman for Todd Plummer.
Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, helping his parents do work around the house and, especially, playing with his nieces and nephews. Fast cars and music, especially country and rock, were a joy to him and he had a fondness for his four-legged friend, Cinder.
Survivors include his father, Frank Main Sr. of Boothbay Harbor; son, Matthew Main of Texas; daughter, Michelle Main of Texas; brothers Jim Main of Florida, Russell Main of Boothbay Harbor, and Frank Main Jr. of Boothbay; and sisters Tracy Dunton of Westport, and Susan Nelson of Illinois.
Services will be private. Interment will on the family lot in Oaklawn Cemetery, Boothbay Harbor.
