Michael O’Donnell, 68, of Brunswick, died March 29 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
He was born in Portland on June 23, 1944, a son of Bart and Shirley (Moore) O’Donnell.
He graduated from Morse High School in the class of 1964. He was employed at Bath Iron Works for 42 years, retiring in 2005 as a systems engineer. He served in the National Guard for many years. Mike resided with his daughter Sheila for the last year and a half.
He loved being outdoors in nature. Mike took pleasure in working with his hands; he was always tinkering and fixing things. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by daughters, Sheila M. O’Donnell-Mullin and husband Andrew of Bristol, and Kelly L. Sniper and husband Todd of Portland; sister, Colleen Stevens of Bath; grandchildren, Constance Mullin, Adelaide Mullin, Kendall Sniper, and Coburn Sniper; and three nieces.
Celebration of his life 1 p.m., Sat., June 22 at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High St., Bath. Burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath at a later date.
