Michael P. Rawley, 67, formerly of Waldoboro, died April 25 at Seaside in Portland.
He was born Oct. 31, 1944 in Rockland, a son of the late Ernest N. and Elinor L. (Emery) Rawley.
He attended school in St. George and worked for William Atwood Lobster Company. Mr. Rawley was a car salesman for his good friend and boss, Kevin Thompson, and was a member of the Rockland Elks Lodge #1008.
He was preceded in death by a sister Edith Starr from Rockland.
Mr. Rawley is survived by daughters, Victoria Rawley of Portland, Coreen Ernest of Texas, Teresa Burgess and Michael Mulvaney, both of Florida, April Rawley of Thomaston and Samantha Rawley of New Hampshire; sons, Michael Rawley of Florida and Alex Rawley of New Hampshire; step-sons, Kent Moshier and Tim Moshier, both of Cushing; step-daughter, Rachel Cross of Thomaston; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and sister, Patricia McGinnis of Florida.
A graveside service will be held at Robbins Cemetery in Thomaston on Sat., June 9. Time to be announced at a later date. All are welcome.
