Michael Ronald Brow, 65, of Bristol, passed away on the evening of April 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family and his friend, Duane. Born in Rockland on July 15, 1958, he was the son of Bernard and Geraldine (Burns) Brow.
Mike worked as a lobsterman out of Friendship for seven or eight years. He also drove for Lusty Lobster out of Bremen for several years. In 1984, Mike went to work at Yudy’s Tire in Damariscotta with his good friend, Arthur McFarland. Mike went on to manage Central Tire in Waldoboro.
After work at Central Tire, he retired and took a job with Bristol Parks and Recreation, where he was reunited with his best friend, Arthur McFarland. In 2018, because of failing health, he fully retired.
At the end of March, Mike went on hospice, where he was cared for by his son, Mike and daughter, Elizabeth. In April, Mike was cared for by his niece, Rebecca Brow (“Aunt Beck,” as Mike called her), his sister Kim, and brother, Jeff.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Karen Seiders, Lana Simmons, Christy McFarland, and Brenda Brow Machia; and a niece, Candace Mank.
Mike is survived by his children, Elizabeth Brow Noble, of Gray, Mike Brow, of Bristol, and Heather Brow McFall, of Fargo, N.D.; brother, Jeff Brow, of Warren; sister, Kim Brow, of Round Pond; as well as many nieces and nephews.
