Mona Ackerman, 77, of Franklin, N.H., died at the Franklin Regional Hospital on Aug. 24.
Mona was born July 8, 1932 in Concord, N.H., the daughter of Chester and Carolyn (Miller) Ackerman.
Mona had been a resident of Belmont and graduated from Belmont High School and from the Laconia Business School. She worked at the C.A. Lund Ski Factory in Laconia and at Blue Cross-Blue Shield in Concord. For several years, she had a summer gift shop in New Harbor.
Mona enjoyed arranging flowers, photography and oil painting.
Mona is survived by her sister, Kay Ackerman of Franklin, and two cousins, Eric Ackerman of Virginia Beach, Va. and Marve Tiziani of Lancroft, N.J.
Calling hours 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., Fri., Aug. 28 in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H. Funeral service 12 p.m., Fri., Aug. 28 also at the funeral home. Private family burial will be in the family lot in Pleasant View Cemetery, Hill, N.H.
