Myrna Lois Jacobs, 72, formerly of Brunswick, died peacefully on April 3 at her son’s home in Cocoa, Fla., after a short battle with leukemia. She was born May 24, 1933, the daughter of Hazel May and Winford William Crocker. She married Roland Edwards Jacobs on Nov. 10, 1951. She was an accomplished artist who won many ribbons at county fairs. She was also an avid bird watcher and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Survivors include her husband, Roland; three sons, Charles Jacobs and wife Pam of Melbourne, Fla., James Jacobs and wife Debbie of Cocoa, Fla., and Steven Jacobs of Brunswick; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers, Sherwood Crocker, Sheldon Crocker, William Crocker, and John Winslow; three sisters, Dagmar Doll, Irene Drury, and Martha Jacobs; and several nieces and nephews. She was a faithful member of the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses since her baptism on Jan. 26, 1957. Memorial service 5 p.m., Fri., April 14 at the church on 22 Water St., Brunswick.
