Nancy (Steigerwalt) Dwyer of North Hill, Needham, Mass., formerly of Wellesley Hills, Mass. and Pittsburgh, Penn., passed away Dec. 24. Born in Pittsburgh, Penn., she was the daughter of the late Albert and Eleanor (Latshaw) Steigerwalt.
She was a graduate of Winchester Thurston High School in Pittsburgh, Penn. to which she remained an active alumna even until recently. She played and starred in many plays in the late 30s and early 40s through the Pittsburgh Play House. Late member of The University Club, Pittsburgh, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and The Wellesley College Club.
Nancy was the beloved wife of Vincent C. Dwyer Jr.; devoted mother of Vincent C. Dwyer III of Jefferson; loving grandmother of Kara Atkins of Manasass, Va., and Vincent C. Dwyer IV of Milford, Mass.; and great-grandmother of Douglas J. Dwyer of Milford, Mass.
Nancy’s funeral mass Tues., Dec. 29 at St. Paul’s Church in Wellesley, Mass.
