Naomi E. Bagnell, 87, beloved aunt of Richard and Jane Price of Newcastle, passed away peacefully at her home on Jan. 1 with her niece, nephew and close friends by her side.
She lived the majority of her life in Somerville and Medford, Mass., and held several jobs throughout her life. She retired at the age of 81 from Interstate Publishing in Quincy, Mass. and moved to Newcastle to spend her remaining years with her niece and nephew.
Naomi loved to eat out; for breakfast, it had to be Ships Chow Hall, lunch at the Newcastle Publick House, and most recently, dinner at the Davis Island Grill. She loved her niece and nephew’s dogs, as they made her laugh and brought great joy to her life. After moving to Maine, she and her niece had many adventures together. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was predeceased by her mother and father, the late Josephine and Vincent Bagnell; sister, June; and brother, Vincent.
