Nathaniel E. Merrill, 20, of Wiscasset, passed away Sept. 22.
He was born in Damariscotta on Aug. 16, 1994, a son of Douglas C. and Karen L. Merrill.
He attended Wiscasset schools and has been employed as a carpenter with his father since a young age. He was an excellent athlete all through school and continued his love of sports, race cars and especially fishing.
The love of his life was his 5-month-old daughter, Madison Rose Merrill.
He is survived by his father, Douglas Merrill and longtime companion Pam Dunning of Wiscasset; mother, Karen Arone of Edgecomb; daughter, Madison Rose Merrill; maternal grandmother, Jean Mayo of Dresden; paternal grandfather, Clayton Merrill Jr. and companion Sharon Clary of Chelsea; sister, Amy Babb and husband Ronald of Bowdoinham; brother, Aaron Merrill and wife Jessica of Bowdoin; niece, Hillary Babb; nephews, Hayden Merrill, and Raymon Merrill; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours celebrating his life will be held from 6-8 p.m., Fri., Sept. 26 at the Senior Room at the Wiscasset Community Center, 242 Gardiner Rd., Wiscasset. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery at a later date.
