Nikhil Andrew Rodrigues, 27, of Somerville, died unexpectedly June 14 as a result of an automobile accident. He was the son of Sunil and Maryrose Rodrigues of Somerville.
Nik graduated from San Marin High School in California and from Northeastern University in Boston. He received a master’s degree in energy finance from Dundee University in Scotland.
Along with his curious mind and helpful nature, Nik will be remembered for his love of Range Rovers and airplanes. He took flying lessons and enjoyed sailing in high school and was a voracious reader. He was looking forward to a career in energy management and helping to find new ways of providing energy for all the people of the world. Recently, he helped to update the computer systems at the Somerville Town Office.
Nik is survived by his parents; sister, Sonali Rodrigues of California; and extended family in the United States and India.
Memorial service 6 p.m., Fri., June 22 at St. Giles Episcopal Church on Gardiner Road (Rt. 126) in Jefferson.
