Olive Elizabeth Witt, 53, of Damariscotta, formerly of Newcastle, died Nov. 15 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta following a period of failing health.
Olive was born Dec. 24, 1955 in Camden, the daughter of Robert and Evelyn Snowdeal Witt.
She was an active 20-year member of Mobius in Damariscotta and a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Newcastle. She enjoyed watching birds, anything to do with dolphins, and going to the movies with her friend, Marjorie. She loved motorcycles and going to concerts of any kind of music, especially John Denver.
Survivors include her brother, David Witt and wife Suzie of Waterville; two nephews; and many, many friends.
Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., Tues., Nov. 24 at St. Patrick’s Church, Academy Hill Rd., in Newcastle. Interment will be in the Coughlin Cemetery, Rockland.
