Patricia Ann Giles, of Boothbay, passed away peacefully at the Winship Green in Bath, on Jan. 30. Patricia was born on Barters Island to Clarence Campbell II and Irene (Harrington) Campbell. She was a graduate of Boothbay Region High School class of 1960. Her class was the first class to attend Boothbay Regional High School all four years.
Patricia loved traveling all over the country and often took bus tours to many different attractions. Patricia collected stuffed animals from all of the places she visited. Patricia loved animals, but she especially loved her cats. She also enjoyed listening to country-western music and spending time with her family.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband of 27 years, Creighton Giles Sr.; infant sister; and brothers, Clarence Campbell Jr., Gordon Campbell, and Bert Campbell.
Patricia is survived by son, Dan and wife Tina Giles of Boothbay; daughter, Sarah and husband Glenn Hyson of Boothbay; son, Jack and wife Pam Giles of Bedford, N.H.; sister, Beatrice Rowe of Vassalboro; granddaughter, Becca Giles of Westport; grandsons, Chris Hyson of Boothbay, Ryan Giles of Mooresville, N.C, and Grant Giles of East Boothbay; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Sat., Feb. 7 at Hall’s of Boothbay, with a reception to follow at the American Legion Hall in Boothbay.
