Patricia Ann “Patsy” Carter, 60, of Boothbay, passed away on Oct. 23 at her daughter’s home.
Patricia was born in Boothbay Harbor, Jan. 16, 1947, the daughter of Ernest and Cora Lewis Lowery. She grew up in Boothbay and attended local schools.
Patsy raised her family in Boothbay Harbor and her family was her life.
For past 20 years she worked at Ebb Tide as a cook.
She loved walking and shopping with her friends, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and her cat, Izzy.
She was predeceased by her father, Ernest Lowery.
Survivors include her daughters, Shari Plaice and husband Robert of Brewster, Mass. and Lesley Blethen and husband Brian of Boothbay; son, Andy Carter of Boothbay Harbor; mother, Cora Lewis Lowery of Boothbay Harbor; brothers, Rodney Lowery and wife Toni of Trevett, and Ambrose “Sonny” Artzer and wife Brenda of Hodgdons Island; grandchildren, Brandon Long of Ft. Lewis, Wash., Adam and Andee May Plaice of Brewster, Mass., and Faith and Glory Blethen of Boothbay; and great-grandchild, Alexis Long of Ossipee, N.H.
Celebration of her life Sat. Oct. 27 at the Barters Island Baptist Church followed by a gathering of family and friends at the Barters Island Community Hall. Alfred Roberts officiated.
