Patricia Anne (Gribbin) Horton, 75, of Wayland, Mass., died on March 27 following a period of declining health.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Jan. 24, 1942, the daughter of the late Daniel Gribbin and Josephine (Reath) Gribbin. Patricia was the wife of the late William A. Horton who died on May 9, 1998.
Patricia spent her earlier years in Brooklyn, N.Y. and in New Jersey. In 1982, she moved to Damariscotta and recently to the Massachusetts area to be closer to her daughter, Jennifer.
She enjoyed gardening and antiquing and spending time with her friends in Maine. She was a loving and devoted mother to her family.
She is survived by her children, Dana Darnell and husband Jack of Downington, Penn., William Scott Horton of Sanford, Daniel Horton of Portland, and Jennifer Horton and husband David Regan of Wayland, Mass.; brother, Daniel Gribbin of Vermont; and grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
