Patricia J. Nordin, of Bristol, died peacefully at home on Sept. 19.
She was born to Ralph and Marion (Bennett) Green in Quincy, Mass. on Nov. 27, 1932. She graduated from No. Quincy High School, class of 1951.
She served honorably in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1959. Upon discharge, she was a travel agent, and worked for the airlines mostly. She worked as a dental receptionist until her retirement.
She lived in Canaan, N.H. for over 20 years, moving to Bristol in 1992. There she was a volunteer at Miles Memorial Hospital, an active member of the Willing Workers and a member of the Quilters Guild. She was also an avid knitter and animal lover. Pat was a fun and feisty person.
Pat was blessed to be surrounded by wonderful, caring neighbors and friends who supported her during her courageous battle with cancer.
She leaves her beloved dog, Molly; longtime friends, Maureen Daley, Betty Dennison, and Irene Morse; and many cousins and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at a future date. Burial will be private and held in Dexter.
