Patricia L. Haley, 83, of Bath, formerly of Caribou, died July 28 at Horizon Living & Rehab in Brunswick.
She was born in Van Buren on June 14, 1930, a daughter of Patrick D. and Catherine M. (Martin) Cyr.
She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in the class of 1948 and Sisters Hospital School of Nursing in Waterville in the Class of 1952. She was employed at several local doctors’ offices in Caribou and moved to Bath in 2001. For many years she volunteered at Cary Medical Center in Caribou and Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary and the St. Bruno’s Catholic Church in Van Buren and the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Caribou.
She is survived by son, William Haley and wife Julie of Vinalhaven; daughter, Paula Farmer and husband Raymond of Wiscasset; grandchildren, Jessica Stedt of Auburn, Jeri Stedt of Watertown, Mass., William Haley and wife Alyson of Manhattan, Kan., and Catherine Haley of Vinalhaven; and great-grandchildren, Zach Hanson and Sara Hanson of Brunswick.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Fri., Aug. 30 at St. Bruno Cemetery in Van Buren.
