Patrick W. Perry, 59, of Wiscasset, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 25 at his home.
He was born in Boothbay Harbor on Nov. 11, 1958.
Pat was raised by his grandparents, Edward and Frances Mank. They would spend summers traveling to different states. Pat started working at Bath Iron Works at 18 with his grandfather. He was there for 40 years until he had to retire.
Pat loved racing at Wiscasset Speedway, NASCAR, building well houses for family and friends, camping, and his three special rescue dogs, Iggy, Sammy, and Luna.
He was predeceased by his grandparents; and father, Bill (William) Perry.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Leanita Kimball Perry; daughter, Erica Tompkins and husband David of Somerville; stepsons, Cory Bates of Wiscasset, and Kevin Bates and wife Joliene of Pittston; adopted son, Robert Perry of New York; stepdaughter, Ashley Brann and boyfriend Adam Cooper of Wiscasset; grandson, Zachary Bates of Waterville; granddaughters, Chandra Stanley of Gardiner, Brianna Bates of Waterville, twins Amanda and Christina of Somerville, his two terrors, Lily Jade and Madison Sky whom came over every day to say hi to their Pops; mother, Brenda House of Wiscasset; sister, Michelle King and husband Ed of Arizona; half-brother, Dana House of Wiscasset; uncle, Richard Mank and wife Carol; and little buddy, Kyle of Wiscasset.
A celebration of his life will be held from 1-4 p.m., Sat., Oct. 6 at his residence in Wiscasset.
