Pauline M. LaBrecque, 87, of Newcastle, formerly of Livermore, died peacefully March 26 at her daughter’s home in Newcastle. She was born Dec. 15, 1925 in Chisholm, the daughter of Irving and Rose (Leduc) Strout.
Pauline attended Livermore Falls High School. On Oct. 27, 1947 at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay, she married her husband of 54 years, Raymond LaBrecque. She devoted her life to caring for her family. Pauline was a former communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond on April 3, 2002; son, Richard LaBrecque; brothers, Jack and Robert Strout; and sisters, Vivian Dracos, Jeannette Richmond, and Lorraine Pineau.
She is survived by her son, Robert LaBrecque and wife Sharon of Jay; daughter, Elaine Nelson and husband Raoul of Newcastle; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Bonnie Strout and Sandra Chretien.

Funeral services April 1 at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1 Church St., Jay. Interment in the spring at Holy Cross Cemetery, 445 Park St., Livermore Falls.
