Philip A. Little Sr., 62, of Wiscasset, died March 6 at his home. He was born July 23, 1948 in Boothbay Harbor to Lawrence and Abbie Lowery Little. He grew up on Barter’s Island and attended local schools. He was a fisherman, mainly for scallops. He also worked as a carpenter and as a mason.
He enjoyed camping, and hanging out with his close friends, the Giles family. He also enjoyed his solitude.
He is predeceased by his brother, Daniel Little and father, Lawrence Little.
He is survived by his mother, Abbie Barter of Wiscasset; son, Philip A. “P.J.” Little of Belmont; sisters, Elizabeth Dobson of Jefferson and Pauline Brewer of Wiscasset; brother, Stanley Barter of Boothbay; nieces and nephews; and grandchildren.
Visitation 10:30-11:30 a.m., Sat., March 12 at Simmons, Harrington & Hall Funeral Home, 975 Wiscasset Rd., Boothbay. Graveside service 12 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery, Barter’s Island Road, Boothbay.
