Philippine M. van Zwoll, 98, of Grove City, Ohio, and formerly of Damariscotta, passed on Oct. 8 at her home.
Philippine was an accomplished artist whose works were often shown at the Pemaquid Art Gallery.
Philippine is predeceased by her husband, James A. van Zwoll; son, Arthur W. van Zwoll; brother, Adriaan Boeye; and second husband, Piet.
She is survived by daughters, Andi of South Carolina, and Jackie of Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Sat., Oct. 27 at First Presbyterian Church of Grove City, Ohio.
